Serlina Boyd is the Founding Director of an excellent publishing initiative with the development of 2 new magazines ‘Cocoa girl’ and ‘Cocoa Boy’. Cocoa is the UK’s first magazine representing Black children.
Launched in lockdown, the aim of the magazine is to inspire and empower children who are commonly misrepresented in the media.
In a video to announce her new role, Karen (Founder of Bright Futures 4 All) said “I am thrilled to have this new role. After many years in education, I am looking forward to using this platform, as a Guest editor to encourage, but also, share the top tips and resources they need, not only to inspire their children but also to take them to another level”.
