WHO IS HILLEL BRIGHT FUTURES TRUST (HBFT)?

Hillel Bright Futures Trust is a charity that aims to create a community hub that can help children, alongside their parents/carers to: 

 

1. Build Hope

2. Build Resilience

3. Build Key Vocational/Academic Skills. 

  

WHAT WE DO

We provide affordable education and well-being support to all young people and their families, regardless of their economic, cultural, religious or ethnic background. 

 

For more than a decade, our sister company, 'Bright Futures 4 All', has provided a range of often FREE services to support the local community Read more

 

OUR VISION

To create, fund and lead a range of community services, that provide FREE and affordable innovative ways to meet the educational and well-being needs of our communities children and parents.  

 

For example, funding of 2 places per year of a new ‘hybrid’ all-through, co-educational, non-denomination inclusive school model for LAC and SEN children to access full-time schooling with smaller classes and more personalised learning.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

To act as a resource for young people, up to the age of 18, living in Croydon and the surrounding London Boroughs by providing advice and assistance and organising programmes of physical, educational and other activities as a means of:

a) Advancing in life and helping young people by developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals

 

b) Advancing education

 

c) Relieving unemployment

 

d) Providing recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare for people living in the area of benefit who have need by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, poverty or social and economic circumstances with a view to improving the conditions of life of such persons.
